Summary
The BROKER MODEL is an initiative that aims to facilitate improved access and utilisation of available local health and social service programs amongst secondary schools across the Frankston Mornington Peninsula.
Consultations highlighted that secondary schools lacked knowledge about locally available programs and resources, and how to access them in response to identified needs within their student body and the broader school community.
Developed in partnership with Frankston Mornington Peninsula Local Learning and Employment Network (FMPLLEN), the BROKER MODEL provides informational, relational and systems intermediaries (brokers) and facilitate engagement and collaboration between participating schools and the broader health and social services sector.
